The enhancements for Mission: SPACE that were announced at the D23 Expo will take effect August 13. As was previously announced, Mission: SPACE’s less intense Green Mission will take guests on a brand new, more family-friendly journey on an exciting orbit of Earth, ending at Kennedy Space Center. Guests will see sites like the Hawaiian Islands, the “boot” of Italy and the Northern Lights. The Green Mission will also offer booster seats that will allow even younger guests to enjoy the adventure as the height requirement on the Green Mission will be lowered to 40″.
The Orange Mission will continue to offer a more intense experience that lets guests feel the force of an actual space launch en route to Mars. This mission still includes dodging meteoroids, a slingshot around the moon and attempting a precision landing on the Red Planet’s alien surface. The Orange Mission has been enhanced with new, HD video to make it even clearer The height requirement on the Orange Mission is still 44″.
