This year, Epcot’s holiday celebration — previously known as Holidays Around the World — will be getting a new moniker to match the park’s growing lineup of festivals. The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will kick off November 19th and run through December 30th. The Festival will the popular Candlelight Processional events, new Holiday Kitchens, extra entertainment, and more.
First, this year’s Candlelight narrator lineup will include such favorites as Neil Patrick Harris and Disney Legend Whoopi Golderberg in addition to newcomers like Matt Bomer and Warwick Davis. In terms of entertainment, one new addition is the group Mostly Kosher, who will perform holiday classics celebrating Hanukkah in the America Pavilion. They’ll join returning favorites such as JOYFUL! A Gospel Celebration of the Season and Canadian Holiday Voyageurs.
This year’s festival will also feature 15 Holiday Kitchens this year, serving up more holiday cookies and other sweet seasonal treats than ever before. Stop into the Odyssey for snowflake sugar cookies and warm apple fritters with cinnamon ice cream, or head to the Canada pavilion for Maple Buche de Noel.
The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will begin November 19th.
