A handyman who stole $239,000 in comic books and artwork from Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada was arrested in New York according to Northjersey.com.
Francesco Bove was hired to do clean-up and repair work at the Quesada home after it sustained water damage from a broken pipe. Instead, Bove and his girlfriend lived into the unoccupied home.
After Quesada’s wife realized there was an issue after checking on home security cameras, Bove stole the artwork and fled to Italy. He sold the artwork to dealers, but most has been located.
