Despite being on hiatus at Disneyland Park is California, the Jingle Cruise is returning to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Starting November 2, passengers aboard the Jungle Cruise attraction will be treated to holly jolly decorations, some holiday themed radio broadcasts and seasonal shenanigans from stem to stern during the annual holiday overlay.
As the story goes, when one of the crewmembers receives a care package from home that contains holiday decorations, the skippers and crew decide to bring the spirit of the season to Adventureland, as they transform this beloved attraction from the Jungle Cruise to the Jingle Cruise.
Docks will be decked out, boats will be trimmed, and the boathouse will be beautified with presents from home. These resourceful riverboat pilots rely upon their jungle survival skills to put the finishing touches on their delightful holiday decorating.
It is unknown why the overlay continues at Walt Disney World while not being run at the Disneyland Resort.
