A former Cast Member aboard the Disney Wonder has been charged with wire fraud and stands accused of embezzling upwards of $275,000 from Disney. According to Fox 5, 32-year-old Renan Dias Da Rocha Gomes was arrested as the Wonder pulled into port in San Diego last Friday. Court documents indicate that Gomes, who was a merchandise host on the ship, charged more than $275,000 to Disney bank accounts over the past two years. Each time, he would allegedly load the amount to a Disney gift card. Furthermore, the documents allege that Gomes took a family vacation to Walt Disney World earlier this year and spent $35,000 in stolen funds. Gomes reportedly confessed to the crimes at the time of arrest and is expected to begin his hearing on Wednesday.
