The Disneyland Resort has decided to suspend the sale of their popular Southern California Annual Pass. As of today, this pass option will not be available to new members, although current SoCal passholders will be able to renew when their passes expire. A Disneyland spokeswoman Michele Himmelberg told the Orange County Register, “Our annual passes are very popular with guests. We continuously seek the appropriate balance that helps manage demand for our product and allows us to deliver a world-class experience for all guests.” The Deluxe, Signature, and Signature Plus Passports are still available to all guests in addition to the SoCal Select pass for residents of zip codes 90000 to 93599.
Notably, this is not the first time the resort has taken such an action. Back in 2014, the SoCal AP was also removed, only to return in 2016.
