When “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” was first announced, it was intended to be an ABC special. Somewhere down the line, the decision was made to release it in front of Pixar’s Coco instead. Unfortunately, audiences didn’t seem to give the 22-minute “short” the warm hug Disney might have been expecting. As of today, the featurette has completed its theatrical run and will now air on ABC Thursday, December 14th as part of the 25 Days of Christmas. The special will air at 8 p.m. followed by “Prep and Landing.”
If you didn’t catch it in theatres, “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” finds the snowman teaming up with Sven on a merry mission to find Anna and Elsa a holiday tradition to make their own. While it features the original voice cast from Frozen, it also has new songs from Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson.
