Disneyland to Test Placing PhotoPass Photographers at More Attractions, Fewer Meet and Greet Locations

Based on guest feedback, the Disneyland Resort plans to test some changes to their PhotoPass program. Beginning Sunday, January 28th, photographers will be stationed at some classic attractions and other popular spots including the entrance to Tomorrowland, Matterhorn, Mad Tea Party, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, the Sword in the Stone, the Cloud Wall backdrop on Hollywood Boulevard, and the Carthay Fountain. Meanwhile, some meet and greet locations like Royal Hall, the Animation Building, Pixie Hollow, and on-street appearances like Oswald may go without photographers. However, at Royal Hall and at Animation, Character Hosts will still be available to take photos using guests’ cameras. While these arrangements are merely a test, the new locations will be updated in February park maps.
