Walt Disney World’s Mobile Ordering Adds Support for Disney Dining Plan

Since first debuting with Pandora: The World of Avatar last year, Walt Disney World’s mobile ordering option has made its way to a number of quick service dining locations around the resort. However, during this time, guests only had the option to with a credit card, meaning those on Disney Dining Plans were unable to utilize their credits via mobile ordering. Today that’s changing as the Disney Parks Blog announces that Mobile Order will now support all Disney Disney Plans options, including both meal and snack credits.

Just like before, guests can place their Mobile Order using the My Disney Experience app. There they’ll be able to view their Dining Plan credits and see which items qualify for their plan. They can also opt not to use their plan for items. Once the order is placed, guests can look for the mobile order pickup location, tap “I’m Here” in the app, and receive their order a short time later. It should still be noted that, while guests are able to make some customizations to certain items in the app, those with food allergies or dietary restrictions are still advised to place their orders with a cashier.
