Marvel Announces Fresh Start for Comic Line

Marvel has announced that their comics line will be getting a "Fresh Start" this May.

While this does not mean that the comics continuity is being reset, it does mean that Marvel is seeking jumping on point for new and lapsed fans. This initiative is in stark contrast to the recent Marvel Legacy push which brought back legacy numbering to issues. Fresh Start will relaunch several titles with new #1 issues.

This is the first major initiative under new Editor-In-Chief C.B. Cebulski who replaced Axel Alonso last year. Fresh Start will feature new series with new creative teams while promising new directions and new beginnings. It is apparent that Cebluski is trying to leave his mark on the line following a year of controversial story-lines and disappointing sales.
