Tickets are officially now on sale for The El Capitan Theatre’s engagement of Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time at www.elcapitantickets.com, by calling 1-800-DISNEY6 and at The El Capitan Theatre box office. The film is set to run from March 9 through April 3, shown in Dolby Vision Laser Projection & Dolby Atmos Sound Technology.
Fans can be amongst the first to experience the new film from Walt Disney Studios — on Thursday, March 8. The El Capitan Theatre will host an Opening Night Screening for at 7:00 PM. That evening is promised to include prizes and more surprises.
El Capitan Theatre General Manager Ed Collins said, “The El Capitan Theatre is the best place to enjoy the eagerly anticipated, ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ because our audiences can immerse themselves in this wondrous adventure in ways that are only possible at our theatre. Before the movie, El Capitan guests will be treated to an all-new kaleidoscope curtain show of celestial light and sound, and before and after every screening of the film, the intricate costumes worn by the three Mrs’s as portrayed in the film by Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kahling will be on display.”
Daily showtimes are 10:00AM, 1:00PM, 4:00PM, 7:00PM, and 9:50PM. Showtimes and dates are subject to change.

Moviegoers can book a Movie & Meal Package with the El Capitan Theatre and the Hard Rock Café. For one low price of $40.00 per person. Reservations are required in advance (24 hrs – business days). RESERVED SEAT ONLY – NO CONCESSIONS INCLUDED. Guests will be directed to go to the Hard Rock Café. after their movie. Guests will select their entrée upon their arrival at the restaurant. The El Capitan Theatre will also host Tiny Tot Tuesday during the first showing every Tuesday; during this special screening, parents and small children may enjoy the movie in a tot-friendly way—with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels, plus raffle prizes.
