Early this morning, a bus carrying high school band students from the Houston area home after a Walt Disney World trip crashed, falling into a 50-foot ravine. As ABC News reports, the incident happened around 5:33 a.m. as the bus traveled on the I-10 West in Alabama. At this time, reports indicate that at least one person (the driver) has died with multiple others injured. Mark Kramer, a spokesperson for the school district the students were from, said, “A charter bus transporting Channelview High School band students was involved in an accident on Interstate 10 in Alabama early this morning. At this time, details are limited.” He added, “Our prayers are with the injured and their families at this time.”
