Following an impressive debut that drew more than 18 million viewers, it comes as no surprise that ABC has renewed their Roseanne revival for another season. As Deadline reports, the next season — which will be the 11th for the show overall — will include 13 episodes, which is up from a nine-episode order the current season received. In a statement, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dunger said, “We’re thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes. The show is as fresh and relevant today as it was when it left the air 21 years ago. We can’t wait to see what the Roseanne team has in store for next year.” While the rebooted series debuted midseason this time around, it’s unclear if it could debut in the fall in the future. That said, one of the challenges of the series is managing the schedules of its cast, including film stars John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf as well as Sara Gilbert who co-hosts the daytime talk show The Talk. In any case, Roseanne currently airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
