According to the Disney Parks Blog, mobile ordering is coming to the Disneyland Resort following its launch at Walt Disney World last year. Guests will be able to place orders for select quick-service restaurants using the Disneyland App. Guests will be able to pre-order their meals, and then let the restaurant know when they arrive via the app. They will then receive a notification when their food is ready and they can go to the designated location to pick up their food.
Unlike the Walt Disney World launch, Annual Passholder discounts will be available through the app at launch. No details were given where and when the service will launch.
Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World have continued investing in improving their app experience. Disneyland launched MaxPass while Walt Disney World recently revealed a keyless entry pilot at Wilderness Lodge.
