A Walt Disney World employee has been arrested on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography. According to the Orlando Sentinel, 27-year-old William Earl Barrett was arrested in Seminole County last Friday after an FBI investigation in Johnson City, New York discovered Barrett had sent images to the person they were investigating. In an interview with authorities, Barrett reportedly admitted to having videos and images of young children but said he wouldn’t classify them as pornography. A search of Barrett’s hard drive uncovered nude images of children as young as three years old being spanked. According to Barrett’s Facebook, he is a lifeguard at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, although a Disney spokesperson says he’s been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of his case.
