Veteran comic, voice actor, and children’s TV host, Chuck McCann passed away yesterday (April 8th) at the age of 83. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, McCann’s career spans eight decades and covers a variety of movies, TV shows, commercials, video games and more. Disney fans will recognize his voice from Disney Afternoon shows: DuckTales (as Duckworth), TaleSpin (as Dumptruck), Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, and New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh just to name a few. However, his most notable Disney role was actually in the parks as the voice of Dreamfinder in Epcot’s Journey Into Imagination. McCann is survived by his wife, Betty Fanning and three children from a previous marriage.
