Bob Dorough, who created the classic show Schoolhouse Rock, has passed away. He was 94.
- Schoolhouse Rock began in 1973 and aired for 12 years on ABC.
- The show also re-aired for five years in the 90s.
- According to CNN, Dorough penned his first Schoolhouse Rock song after a New York advertising executive approached him in 1971, asking him to set the multiplication tables to music for his sons.
- That tune would become “Three’s a Magic Number.”
