Actress Margot Kidder passed away yesterday at the age of 69. According to CNN, her manager reports that she died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Montana. Kidder is best know for her iconic role as Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in Superman. She and Reeve would go on to appear in the three Superman sequels that followed. Disney fans will recognize Kidder as Mickey Raymond from the 1983 film Trenchcoat. She also had a brief appearance as Emily Craft in ABC’s Brothers and Sisters. Kidder’s acting work began on television in 1963 and continued through 2017. Fans of the actress and other celebrities have taken to social media to honor her memory. Kidder is survived by her daughter.
