ABC will present a preview of Walt Disney World’s Toy Story Land during their broadcast of Toy Story 3 on Wednesday, May 23. Zach Braff (Alex, Inc) and Eden Sher (The Middle), both from ABC shows that will not be returning in the fall, will give an inside look into the upcoming land.
About Toy Story 3:
Andy prepares to depart for college and his loyal toys find themselves in…day care! But the untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice, so it’s all for one and one for all as plans for the great escape get underway. More than a few new faces—some plastic, some plush—join the adventure, including iconic swinging bachelor and Barbie’s counterpart, Ken; a lederhosen-wearing thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants; and a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o’- Huggin’ Bear.
- Opens June 30 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- More than 400 toy blocks fill Andy’s backyard.
- In Toy Story Land, Andy’s footprint is about 25 feet long or the equivalent of a size 240 shoe.
- It would take a Green Army Man roughly 12 steps just to travel the length of one of Andy’s shoeprints.
- You would need a backpack the size of a school bus to carry the Buzz and Woody figures that tower over Toy Story Land.
- The weight of the Slinky Dog Dash track and support columns weighs almost as much as 125,000 gallons of milk.
- Together Rex and the Jenga Tower are as tall as 7½ Green Army Men standing on top of one another.
