Earlier this year, Samsung announced they would be releasing Disney Augmented Reality (AR) Emojis throughout the year. In March, Mickey and Minnie debuted, then in May the Incredibles were made available to users. Now, Goofy and Daisy have been added to the growing collection of AR Emojis. And more are on the way.
What’s happening:
- Daisy Duck and Goofy are now available as Augmented Reality Emojis.
- Thanks to a partnership between Disney and Samsung, these special Disney emojis are can be downloaded on select Samsung smartphones.
- The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are now home to growing collection of Disney AR Emojis. With the addition of Goofy and Daisy, Samsung now offers 11 Disney emojis.
- Samsung has also announced that Frozen, and Zootopia characters will be released throughout the year.
How it works:
- From Samsung: “AR Emojis enable users to create a personalized emoji that can be shared on any platform, providing a fun, unique way to send messages to friends. These messages can be further customized, as the augmented reality-powered, deep learning and facial recognition technology maps more than 100 facial features.”
- Galaxy S9 and S9+ users can access all the awesome emojis in just a few simple steps:
- Access the camera’s AR Emoji mode
- Tap the plus icon on the right-hand side
- Select the Disney AR Emoji pack from the Galaxy Apps store
- Have fun!
