After two seasons on the air, Freeform has reportedly given the ax to Famous in Love.
- According to Deadline, the network has decided not to order a third season of Famous in Love despite a last-minute push by fans and co-creator I. Marlene King.
- Although the Bella Thorne-led series did see some gains in the rating during its last few airing, overall numbers were still down year over year.
- Deadline also reports that producers pitched the idea of a third season to Hulu, which ultimately declined.
- Famous in Love was based on the Rebecca Serle novel of the same name.
- Next up for I. Marlene King: the Pretty Little Liars spinoff, The Perfectionists.
