Rivers of Light Dessert Party to Debut Next Month

Starting next month, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will introduce a new option for guests to enjoy their Rivers of Light show, adding a dessert party on select nights.

  • Rivers of Light Dessert Parties will include reserved seating and, of course, a buffet spread of themed desserts and snacks.
  • Specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options will also be available.
  • The price for the Rivers of Light Dessert Party is $79 per adult and $47 per child.
  • Note that admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom is not included and is required.
  • The first event is set for Saturday, August 11th with additional parties scheduled for subsequent Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
  • Currently bookings for August through November parties are available by visiting DisneyWorld.com or calling (407) WDW-DINE
  • Additionally, if guests prefer a more substantial meal, dining packages for Rivers of Light are also available and can be booked through Disney’s website or by calling the reservation hotline.

  • Once again, Visit Orlando has partnered with local restaurants to offer the Magical Dining Month this September. Guests will enjoy a 3-course prix fixe meal for only $35 per person. There are 8 restaurants on Walt Disney World property that are participating in this special deal that’s open to the public.
