El Capitan is Los Angeles is hosting a Throwback Month this September and as part of the fun, Disney fans can enjoy watching classic Disney films on the big screen.
What’s happening:
- Starting on August 30th through September 23rd, Disney fans can visit the world famous El Capitan theatre for Throwback Month.
- The theatre will show a collection of Disney movies from 1961 through 2009 along with a special showing of this year’s Incredibles 2.
- Tickets range from $10 per person to $15 per person (double feature) and are on sale now for all showings. Tickets include reserved seating, a small popcorn and small drink.
What’s showing:
- August 30 – September 3 Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) directed by Robert Zemeckis;
- Earlier in the day, Incredibles 2 (2018) directed by Brad Bird + BAO (short subject, 2018) will be showing at the special throwback price of $10 per person.
- September 6 — September 9 Enchanted (2007) directed by Kevin Lima
- Thursday, September 13 Double Feature at 7:00 pm – The Absent Minded Professor (1961) directed by Robert Stevenson + Flubber (2005) starring Robin Williams; directed by Les Mayfield (*double feature — all seats $15 includes reserved seat, VIP popcorn and 20 oz drink)
- September 14 to September 16 Flubber (2005) starring Robin Williams; directed by Les Mayfield
- September 20 to 23 Disney•Pixar’s Up (2009) directed by Pete Docter, Bob Peterson
