Those who saw Incredibles 2 and were hoping to see more of the hilarious Jack-Jack/Edna (Jedna? Ed-Jack?) dynamic will be thrilled to know that a new short titled “Auntie Edna” will be included on the Incredibles 2 home releases.
- Director Brad Bird announced via Twitter that “Auntie Edna” would be included on both the digital and Blu-ray releases of Incredibles 2.
- The short was directed by Ted Mathot, who served as story supervisor on the feature film.
- In his tweet, Bird wrote, “Many of you have suggested we show what transpired the night E babysat Jack-Jack. Well, we were WAAAY ahead of you!”
- Incredibles 2 will be released digitally on October 23rd before hitting Blu-ray on November 6th.
- Meanwhile, the film has racked up more than $1.1 billion dollars at the global box office, making it the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
