Hong Kong Disneyland has announced that it will remain closed today (September 17th) due to the impacts of Typhoon Mangkhut.
UPDATE (9/17/18): The resort has announced that the park will be reopened on September 18th. However, they advise “part of the park areas and facilities are suspended for repair.” Additionally, Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre will continue to be closed until further notice.

- A message on the resort’s website informs guests, “Hong Kong Disneyland will be closed today (Sep 17, 2018) in the aftermath of severe Typhoon Mangkhut, which has caused tree falls and other damage.
- They also note that the Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre will be closed until further notice.
- Guests are advised to check back to the site for updates.
- This comes after the park was forced to close early on Sunday due to the typhoon.
- Meanwhile, turning stateside, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is also currently closed due to Hurricane Florence. The resort is currently expected to be closed until Wednesday, September 19th.
