We’ve met the Fireball crew, and we’ve met the Aces crew, now it’s time to get a closer look at Star Wars: Resistance overall.
What’s happening:
- This morning Star Wars dropped a brand new extended sneak peek trailer sharing even more details about the new show.
- Fans have already met the new characters of the Resistance series and today they get to see them in action.
- A one-hour season premieres will air on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW on Sunday, October 7 at 10 pm ET/PT.
- Two additional new episodes will be available via the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD.
About Star Wars: Resistance:
This new show from Dave Filoni takes place before the events of The Force Awakens and focuses on a young pilot named Kaz Xiono. Kaz has been recruited by the Resistance to spy on The First Order. He’s assigned to his post aboard the Colossus, a way station for galactic travelers. Along with introducing new characters, Resistance will also see the return of General Leia Organa, BB-8, Poe Dameron, and Captain Phasma.
ICYMI:
- Named after their ship that has a tendency to burst into flames, team Fireball competes in races trying to win money so they can fix their ship. Kaz is an excellent addition to the crew, but they don’t know that he’s working for the Resistance.
- Another group of talented pilots also helps to protect the Colossus. Known as Team Aces, these elite fliers couldn’t be more different, but they work together and share a strong bond.
- The very first trailer for the new series debuted this summer giving fans another Star Wars show to obsess over.
