With the recent launch of the new Disney Aspire education program, Walt Disney World is holding an expo for Cast Members to come and learn more about how they can take advantage of all it offers.
- The Disney Aspire Expo is being held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Friday, September 28 until 8 PM and Saturday, September 29 from 7 AM to 5 PM.
- The expo offers Cast Members an opportunity to get signed up for the program, learn more about it and even get a one on one coaching session to find the right program for them.
- Disney Aspire is a new education program that will offer Cast Members free tuition and other benefits to further their education.
- Back in January, The Walt Disney Company announced an initial $50 million investment in Disney Aspire.
What they’re saying:
- Chris Trout, VP of Development & Learning at The Walt Disney Company: “Participate in it, take advantage of it. It’s so easy to sign up. It’s so easy to be a part of and I encourage you to participate and sign up.”
- Craig, a Disney Cast Member currently enrolled in Disney Aspire: “I do have a couple of my children that, one just finished his bachelor’s degree and one is working on his, so I get to serve as an inspiration for them and kind of set the example. And also for my coworkers both at Disney and previous ones in the military that ‘Hey, I’m kind of a middle-aged guy and I can go back to school and work full-time and I can do this. The opportunity is out there, please take advantage of the education and further your education.'”
