Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World received some impressive upgrades today with the reopening of Old Port Royale as the resort’s new port of entry.
The newly reopened section of the hotel features a brand new check-in and concierge area with lounge style seating, a new souvenir and supply shop and three exciting new dining options.
The new lobby provides a very relaxed mood and a tropical look with plenty of seating, ceiling to floor drapes and a colorful design. Guests can even meet Mickey and Minnie in their Caribbean costumes in the new lobby.
Calypso Trading Post is where guests can go to get everything they need for their trip. If you’re looking for supplies or anything you forgot, you can conveniently find them right in your hotel. The shop also offers souvenirs including Disney’s Caribbean Beach merchandise as well as some of the same merchandise found in the parks.
Of course, the most exciting part of the new changes is the new dining options. There are three new dining locations in Old Port Royale:
- Sebastian’s Bistro – A Caribbean-inspired table-service restaurant serving up all of your favorite surf and turf meals with Latin and Caribbean flavors. Sebastian’s Bistro is open for Lunch and Dinner. Check out the menu here.
- Centertown Market – If you’re looking for a quick bite, Centertown Market is a casual quick-service restaurant with a diverse menu of family friendly fare and a colorful indoor design. For those who are really in a hurry, there’s even a grab ‘n’ go option. Centertown Market serves breakfast and dinner. Check out the menu here.
- Banana Cabana – Now for the really good stuff. Banana Cabana is a new poolside bar with a tropical feel, relaxing ambience and specialty drinks that will transport you to your favorite island. Banana Cabana is open from 11 AM to 11 PM. Check out the menu here.
All of these new amenities are now available to guests of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World.
