The rumored Star Wars spinoff film based on the popular character Boba Fett is reportedly “100% dead” according to Critics Choice Association journalist Erick Weber.
- Though it was never officially announced by Lucasfilm, James Mangold was reportedly hired to direct a film based on Boba Fett back in May.
- Weber shared a tweet regarding a brief talk he had with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy at a special screening of Marvel’s Black Panther.
- Focus is reportedly shifting to The Mandalorian, the series focusing on Boba Fett’s people headed to the Disney Streaming Service.
