Last Thursday, Disney fans were thankful to get a first look at director Jon Favreau’s The Lion King. Now there’s even more reason to be excited as Amy Sedaris has reportedly joined the cast of the highly anticipated film.
- According to Variety, Amy Sedaris (Strangers with Candy, Bojack Horseman) will voice a new character not featured in the 1994 animated film.

- Sedaris joins an already impressive cast that features Donald Glover, Beyonce, the return of James Earl Jones, and many more.
- Disney’s The Lion King will roar into theatres July 19, 2019.
- Donald Glover as Simba (adult)
