A lawsuit involving a scooter accident that took place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World has reportedly been dismissed, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
- Vicki Denton, who sued Disney in May, has reportedly voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit according to court documents filed this month in Orange County Circuit Court.
- The alleged incident occurred in 2016, and involved another park guest inadvertently hitting Denton with their personally-owned scooter, pinning her against the checkout counter of a Disney’s Hollywood Studios gift shop and causing her to fall over the scooter.
- Court records show that Disney repeatedly requested that Denton release medical records with no response.
- Neither Denton’s representation, nor Disney issued a comment regarding the dismissal of the suit.
