Disney has shut down their parenting blog Babble. While the site is still currently accessible, they are not posting any new editorial content.
What’s happening:
In mid December 2018, Disney ceased posting new content on their parenting blog, Babble.
- The site is still up and guests can view articles, however, it will not be updated further.
- Guests visiting the website will be greeted with this message:
“For everything there is a season, and after more than a decade of serving as a community and resource for parents, Babble will be saying goodbye. To all the moms, dads, family, friends, writers, and readers who supported us – thank you. We are so grateful for the time spent sharing your stories and your lives, through all the ups and downs of raising tiny humans.
– The Babble Editors”
- Laughing Place reached out to Disney regarding this abrupt change and received the following statement:
“As Disney Digital Network evolves to support the launch of Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+, Babble.com ceased to update editorial content as of December 14, 2018.”
