Disney XD’s DuckTales series is always loaded with nostalgia. The theme song alone is enough to take you back. But Saturday’s episode featured a very subtle nod that many fans may not have caught.
- The Disney Channel PR Twitter account explained the reference featured in last week’s episode.
- Della Duck, voiced by Paget Brewster, sings a lullaby featuring the music from the 1989 game’s moon level.
- Disney Channel even replied to a nearly two-year old tweet from Lin-Manuel Miranda, who voices Gizmoduck, in which he was listening to the music from the game.
- Saturday’s episode, titled “What Ever Happened to Della Duck!?,” is available now on DisneyNOW.
