Disney’s Animal Kingdom will soon be home to a brand new Disney dining event. Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night will bring a family-friendly progressive dining experience to the park this summer, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
- Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night celebrates Disney’s The Lion King and draws inspiration from the many facets of African cultures and animals.
- The adventure will begin at the Wildlife Express Train Stations where guests will enjoy a welcome reception.
- Then, guests will be brought to the station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch before carrying on to Harambe Market.
- Throughout the night, guests will take in sights, sounds and flavors in celebration of The Lion King as well as the Big Five game animals:
- The African Elephant
- The Rhinoceros
- The Cape Buffalo
- The Leopard
- The Lion
- Guests will learn more about the importance of these five animals and the challenges they face around the world as well as how Disney is working to protect them.
- Now onto the best part: the food. Starting at the train station, guests will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, snacks and beverages as well acoustic music before riding the train over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
- There, guests will be greeted with more light bites and sips. Timon and Rafiki will also welcome guests to the Planet Watch with meet and greets and interactive activities for all ages.
- After taking the train back, guests will continue to Harambe Market for the main event. Guests can enjoy a wide array of sweet and savory dishes paired with unique beverages throughout the marketplace.
Food & Beverage Offerings from Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night will begin on July 24, 2019.
- The event will cost $125 plus tax for adults and $99 plus tax for children ages 3-9.
- Separate park admission will also be required.
