In honor of 50 years of Disneyland’s iconic Haunted Mansion, fans in California are hosting a special one night event, A Swinging Wake. Guests are invited to join the fun in their corruptible mortal state as Haunted Orange County celebrates a half-century of the Haunted Mansion.
What’s happening:
- This fall, fans of the Haunted Mansion attraction are invited attend A Swinging Wake where they’ll get gleefully ghoulish to celebrate 50 years frightful fun.
- This special one night event will held on September 28, 2019 at the Spring Field Banquet Center 501 N. Harbor Blvd. Fullerton, CA.
- Free parking is available in the event center parking lot located directly behind the venue.
- General Admission tickets are $149 per person and include host assigned seating in dining room.
- The evening will feature:
- A buffet style dinner
- Special performances
- Cosplay Contest
- Presentations by:
- Legendary Disney Imagineer, Bob Gurr
- Animatronic pioneer Garner Holt
- YouTube personality Justin Scarred
- Kat Cressida voice of Black Widow Bride
- Guests can also upgrade to their ticket to the Ghoulish Delight Mix & Mingle prior to the regular event.
- Additionally, tickets are available to sit the presenter’s tables. Includes priority dining and an event keepsake. Seating is very limited.
- Ghoulish Delight Mix & Mingle doors open at 6pm.
- General admission doors open at 7pm.
- This event is open to all foolish mortals and will be offered by friends of Haunted Orange County.
Dinner Menu:
- Chicken Florentine with Ginger Honey Glazed Carrots, Red Rose Potatoes and Luxembourg Salad
- Ice tea, lemonade, soft drinks coffee & assorted teas
- Guests with dietary restrictions may indicate that at check-out
Cosplay Contest:
- Join the the gang of wall to wall creeps for the Haunted Mansion Cosplay Contest!
- Contestants must materialize as their favorite HM character and register at check-in.
- Prizes for first, second and third place to be announced.
SwingTown Band:
- Dance with ghoulish delight to the musical stylings of SwingTown Band, a full ensemble combining big-band swing with popular R&B, disco, and rock & roll dance music.
- SwingTown can be seen regularly at Disneyland’s Royal Theater Stage.
