ABC Studios has signed Raven Metzner, the showrunner of Marvel’s Iron Fist series, to a two-year overall deal, according to Deadline.
- Metzner served as the showrunner and executive producer for the Netflix series from Marvel.
- Under his new deal, Metzner will develop new projects for broadcast, cable, and streaming services.
- In fact, the producer reportedly already has two series in the works for Disney+, according to Deadline.
- Metzner has previously co-created and executive produced the ABC drama series Six Degrees, and served as an executive producer on Fox’s Sleepy Hollow.
- Interestingly, Metzner began his writing career on Marvel’s 2005 feature Elektra.
