ESPN’s dynamic 30 for 30 documentary series returns with their newest entry Qualified later this month. The film tells the true story of race car driver, Janet Guthrie—the first woman to compete in the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500.

- Qualified airs on May 28 at 9 pm ET on ESPN.
About Qualified:
- In 1977, a 39-year-old aerospace engineer attempted to qualify for the world’s most famous race, the Indianapolis 500. Overcoming sexism, skepticism, and subpar equipment, Janet Guthrie shocked the racing world when the reluctant feminist-turned-trailblazer became the first woman to earn a place on the starting grid at Indy, among 33 of the world’s greatest drivers.
