With Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story remake currently in production, Fox has shared a cast photo from the film featuring rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks.

What’s happening:
- Variety has shared the first look image at the cast of 20th Century Fox’s West Side Story. Director Steven Spielberg’s is at the helm for the 2020 remake of the original Broadway musical.
- Just like the stage production and 1961 film, Speilberg’s version will also be a musical telling the story of two rival gangs in 1957 New York City.
- West Side Story was inspired by Shakespere’s Romeo and Juliet and features music written by Leonard Bernstein with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
- The film stars Ansel Elgort as Tony and Rachel Zegler as Maria.
