Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition Coming to Local Retailers This Fall

USAopoly has announced that Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will be available this fall at select retailers. Fans can even experience gameplay at this year’s GenCon 2019.

What’s happening:

  • Combining the beloved Disney and Square Enix collaboration with Games Workshop’s time-honored tabletop mechanic, USAopoly (The OP) is excited to announce that Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will soon be arriving at local retailers.
  • Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition will be available in local retailers in North America and Europe starting fall, 2019.
  • Prior to the official release, the game will be fully playable for the first time at GenCon 2019 (August 1-4).

Game and Contents:

  • A vibrant board game experience inspired by the original Kingdom Hearts video game, Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition is filled with iconic characters, memorable locations and adventure.
  • Designed for 2-6 players, the game transports players to The Destiny Islands, which have been attacked by the Heartless.
  • Players must venture through three different rings — The Realm Between, The Realm of Light, and The End of the World– acquiring the needed Strength and Magic to seal the Door to Darkness and keep Heartless from consuming the other worlds.

    • Spell Cards – Gives players magic boosts and abilities, including Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Gravity, Cure, Reflect and more.
    • Purchase Cards – Provides players with additional items, weapons and armor, such as Gummi Ship, Dream Sword and Ribbon.
    • Follower Cards – Powerful allies, which are based around the Summons and Party Members and include fan-favorites like Simba, Genie, Bambi, Dumbo, Tinker Bell and Mushu, help players complete their quests are needed to stop the Heartless.
    • Event Cards – Inspired by Keyblade wielders and Disney villains, events can both positively and negatively impact a player’s journey to the Door to Darkness.
    • Keyblade Cards – Wield powerful Keyblades to defeat enemies and seal the Door to Darkness, including Oathkeeper, Oblivion and Divine Rose.
