Walt Disney World is the most magical place on Earth for many reasons. One of those reasons is the magical experiences and memories the cast members and characters can create for guests like Lauren Bergner and her son Brody.
- According to Today, Bergner spent months preparing Brody, who is autistic, for Walt Disney World.
- Bergner was prepared for her six-year-old son to have the occasional meltdown in the Walt Disney World crowds and Florida heat.
- On Sunday, she saw that one was coming while they were waiting to meet Snow White at Epcot.
- “Brody was overheated, sweating and overwhelmed by everything,” Bergner told Today. “He just started crying."
- The Disney Princess stepped in and knew exactly how to handle the situation.
- “She kissed, hugged and cuddled him,” Bergner wrote in a now-viral Facebook post. “She then took him for a walk away from the crowd! She was amazing."
- The experience meant a lot to Bergner and her husband Bill, who were amazed by how well Snow White was able to calm Brody.
- “I lost it. I was crying,” Bergner told Today. “She lead him to a bench and he was leaning into her and she was hugging him. Brody loves squeezes and soft, soothing voices."
- One might expect the long line of people waiting behind Begner and her family would be frustrated with the extended wait, but she was surprised to find the opposite.
- “I turned around and they started clapping,” Berner said. “It was this magical moment that we will never, ever forget.”
