Have you ever wondered what would happen is various Star Wars characters or teams matched up for battles we’ve never seen before? What about LEGO versions of those characters? That’s exactly what we’ll see in the new mobile game LEGO Star Wars Battles.
- StarWars.com has announced LEGO Star Wars Battles, a new mobile game that combines competitive combat, character collecting, and tower building with the classic charm and humor of LEGO.
- The newly announced game will allow players to:
- Lead an army of LEGO Star Wars characters into real-time multiplayer PvP battles.
- Take the fight to multiple arenas inspired by iconic locations from throughout the galaxy.
- Collect and upgrade characters and vehicles and craft both light and dark side armies to take into battle.
- Build LEGO towers on the battlefield to strategically combat, defend, and capture territory as you push toward the enemy base to claim victory.
- For the first time ever in a LEGO Star Wars video game, players will be able to explore the planet Scarif.
- Players will also get to use characters never before rendered in a LEGO Star Wars game, including Rey and Kylo Ren, who will don costumes from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
- Other new characters will include the First Order’s BB-9E and a Duros rebel trooper inspired by Star Wars Battlefront.
- There will be more than 40 units – featuring characters, vehicles and troops from Star Wars film and animation – for players to collect.
- There will also be champion characters, such as Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Yoda and more.
- Players will be able to support their champion characters with unconventional battalions like battle droids, AT-STs, Ewoks, and even a flock of porgs.
- LEGO Star Wars Battles will be available in 2020 on the App Store and Google Play.
