The long-awaited “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” projection show is finally set to come to Universal Orlando Resort later this month.
- The new Harry Potter-themed nighttime show was announced for both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood way back in February.
- The show then made its debut in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood in April.
- “The Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” projection show will debut at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure on September 14 and will continue to show on select nights through November 15.

- “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will bring more intense tones and drama to showcase the darker side of the Wizarding World, setting the new show apart from previous ones like “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” and “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.”
- The new show will also be accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement conducted by prolific arranger William Ross and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra in London.
- The new arrangement will be based on the original scores composed for the film series created by Academy Award-winning composer John Williams.
