Guests Come Face to Face with Death Eaters During Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle at Universal Orlando

Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle, an ominous new nighttime projection show, made its east coast debut this weekend at Universal’s Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort. Guests came face to face with the eerie Death Eaters, who will be terrorizing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter during the run of this new show.

  • Ominous green light and fog will permeate the village as the Death Eaters eerily roam throughout Hogsmeade, lurking amongst guests – practicing the Dark Arts with complete disregard of wizarding laws.
  • The new Harry Potter-themed nighttime show was announced for both Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood way back in February.
  • The show then made its debut in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood in April.

  • “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” brings more intense tones and drama to showcase the darker side of the Wizarding World, setting the new show apart from previous ones like “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” and “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.”
  • The new show is also accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement conducted by prolific arranger William Ross and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra in London.
  • The new arrangement is based on the original scores composed for the film series created by Academy Award-winning composer John Williams.
  • “Darks Arts at Hogwarts Castle” runs select nights now through November 15.
