Walt Disney Studios is reportedly working on a live-action family-adventure movie titled Knights, set in the European Middle Ages, according to Deadline.
- The original film with follow a young woman who joins a knight on his quest to destroy a dangerous artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.
- The screenplay for Knights is being written by Matt Orton, who wrote the historical drama Operation Finale starring Oscar Isaac and Ben Kingsley.
- Knights will be overseen by Disney executives Jessica Virtue and Chaz Salembier.
- Few details are known about the new movie but it is believed to be bound for theaters rather than Disney+.
- No release date is known for Knights at this time.
