Disney CEO Bob Iger appeared on Good Morning America this morning to promote his new book, The Ride of a Lifetime. While on the talkshow, footage was shown of Iger as a reporter while at Ithaca College.
- Iger, who earned his degree from Ithaca in 1973, was asked what he plans to do after he retires from Disney in 2021.
- GMA’s Robin Roberts joked that he may return to his roots as a weatherman before showing the footage from Ithaca.
- After reliving his college days, Iger responded to the question, saying “I don’t know what’s next,” before jokingly adding “Maybe I’ll just go to Disneyland. You know they say ‘what are you going to do next?’ Go to Disneyland. I’d have to wait on line though.”
Bob Iger’s The Ride of a Lifetime is available now.
