Disney Cruise Line is reportedly alerting guests that the Disney Magic’s “Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic” show will be on a hiatus while portions of the show are being refreshed, according to the Disney Cruise Line Blog.
- “Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic” will not be performed aboard the Disney Magic between April 16, 2020 and May 22, 2020.
- During the show’s hiatus, additional entertainment options will be provided, including variety acts and first run movies in The Walt Disney Theater.
- Disney Cruise Line Blog shared an excerpt of an email from Disney Cruise Line:
- Between April 16, 2020, and May 22, 2020, Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic will not be performed as we refresh portions of the show and scenery. During this time, popular variety performers and first run movies will take the stage in the Walt Disney Theatre. Twice Charmed – An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story and Tangled: The Musical will also be performed during the cruise.
- Based on the dates shared by Disney, the following cruise itineraries will be affected:
- Thursday April 16, 2020: 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami
- Monday April 20, 2020 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami
- Saturday April 25, 2020 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami
- Thursday April 30, 2020 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami
- Monday May 4, 2020 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami
- Friday May 8, 2020 3-Night Bahamian Cruise from Miami
- Monday May 11, 2020 12-Night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise from Miami
- If the schedule remains as is, “Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic” will begin performances aboard the Disney Magic again for the first 7-night Mediterranean cruise departing from Barcelona on May 23, 2020.
