During today’s Walt Disney Company Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that ESPN+ on Hulu will launch tomorrow, March 10.
- This combination of services will bring programming from both streamers together in one place for those who subscribe to both.
- The concept was announced during Disney Investor Day 2020, back in December.
- This will allow subscribers to watch live sporting events and other original programming like Peyton’s Places right on Hulu.
- Chapek also shared that subscribers will eventually be able to purchase pay-per-view events through Hulu as well, essentially brining the UFC to Hulu.
- No specific date as set to fht purchase of pay-per-view events.
