We stopped by Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort today for a variety of interesting updates, including the Eggstravaganza 2021, merchandise for the recently-released Raya and the Last Dragon and the removal of the ropes from the front of the Disneyland entrance.
For some time now, guests have been forced to keep back a ways from the gates of Disneyland Park thanks to some ropes blocking the way. Those ropes were recently removed and guests can now get all the way up to the gates and take some great photos, like the one above.
We also spotted some social distancing markers on the ground in front of the park’s entrance. It appears Disneyland is preparing for their upcoming reopening.
With Easter coming up, Downtown Disney is currently inviting guests to take part in Eggstravaganza 2021, an Easter egg hunt throughout the shopping and dining district. Guests pay a fee of $7.99 to receive a card featuring locations and character stickers. When they find which egg is located at each location, they place the corresponding sticker on their card. When they’re finished, guests can pick up a decorative character egg.
With the recent release of Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon bot in theaters and on Disney+. Guests will find a new photo op dedicated to the film.
And finally, guests who step inside World of Disney will find some new merchandise for Raya and the Last Dragon as well.
