Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA is set to reopen tomorrow, March 17th, with tickets available now!
What’s Happening:
- The long awaited reopening of the Bowers Museum is here, as the museum reopens to the public tomorrow, with tickets available now.
- The Bowers Museum is reopening and operating at 25% reduced capacity and entry will be timed-ticketed. The museum also strongly advises purchasing tickets in advance.
- Thanks to the Bowers’ friendship with the Walt Disney Archives, the exhibition, Inside the Walt Disney Archives: 50 Years of Preserving the Magic has been extended through June 20th.
- Before the museum closed, we were able to tour the exhibit and you can check that out here!
- General Admission tickets include Treasures in Gold & Jade, Miao: Masters of Silver, Test of Medal: Charles J. Shaw and the Montford Point Marines and 7 other permanent installations from around the globe.
- As a special thanks to frontline workers during the COVID crisis, Bowers is currently offering free admission to all healthcare and emergency services workers. Bowers continues to offer free general admission on Sundays to Santa Ana residents. Discounts for seniors, students and active military also apply.

- Visitor safety and the safety of the staff is the highest priority for the Museum, and they ask that visitors acclimate themselves with the new standard of excellence and what they should expect during their visit. The new policies and procedures can be viewed here.
- The Museum suggests the following tips for your next visit:
- Purchase your ticket at bowers.org prior to arrival.
- Make sure you purchased a ticket to Inside the Walt Disney Archives if you'd like to see this exhibit and confirm you've chosen your entry time correctly.
- Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your timed entry in case there's a wait.
- Have your confirmation number ready for check-in.
- Wear your mask!
