Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko, has tweeted that a new Funko Vinyl Soda figure is on its way, this one featuring Professor Owl, who even though appeared in his own shorts in the 50’s is more widely known from his appearances on the Sing Along Songs video.

What’s Happening:
- Brian Mariotti, CEO of Funko has taken to Twitter and announced that a new Funko Vinyl Soda Figure based on Professor Owl is on its way and available for Preorder, with a release set for April of this year.
- Professor Owl was originally featured in the animated shorts Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom, and Melody, but is more widely known from the archival animation from those shorts that was later used in the Sing Along Songs video series throughout the late 80s and 90s. He also made appearances in the popular House of Mouse series, and provided some of the inspiration of the character Knowsmore in Ralph Breaks The Internet. Professor Owl (and some of his students) also adorns the opening float of one of the greatest processions to make its way down Main Street USA at Disneyland, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.
